Le Domaine de Saint Aubin is a beautifully restored colonial estate in southern Mauritius, offering visitors a journey through the island's rich history and heritage. Surrounded by lush tropical gardens, the estate is home to several attractions, including the colonial house, rum distillery, vanilla greenhouse, and anthurium greenhouse.
Le Saint Aubin Restaurant, located within the estate, serves authentic Mauritian cuisine enhanced with refined French influences, prepared using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. As part of La Route du Thé, du Rhum et de la Vanille, the estate offers a unique experience combining history, culture, nature, and gastronomy.

Had end of year lunch at the restaurant. Great place, Rhum tasting was also very interesting. Will definitely recommend.

Save your money and buy yourself some quality products for a delicious home cooked meal! This place is not worth the stop for lunch. It was a lovely day and a lovely view but unfortunately the food was bland- didnt really taste any of the rum in the flavors of the food-
1. was advised that if we all took the shrimp starter we would not have shrimps in the vindaloo...despite having booked few days in advance
- have been told we will be disappointed by the buger patty which the waitress herself mentioned is not homemade and comes from the frozen supermarket shelf.
- the plate was really dirty and when i told them, they replied saying that it came from the store and hadnt been used in a while..
...yeah , disappointing. just as i thought oh wow nice for a wedding- the food arrived and washed all the thought away- did not even feel like doing the visit /tasting anymore. Also - pas de geste commercial, cest vraiment domage, la liste de prob est longue.
